CHI Memorial Hospital is offering for a Pulmonary / Critical Care Medicine Physician to join our growing practice in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Overview:
For over five years we have had strong growth in our clinics and pulmonary consult service. This practice has grown to 13 Doctors and 3 Advanced Practice Providers.
Current group has great diversity and allows for a great work environment.
Clinic weeks have protected bronchoscopy time, one week of pulmonary consults around once every 4 weeks.
This schedule allows for a great work-life balance with vacation time included.
This practice covers a healthy three hospital program however physicians will be assigned only to one hospital for physician efficiency and a continuum of patient care.
Current medical intensive care unit beds include 14 MICU, 20 Cardiac Care Unit, and critical care consults in the Cardiovascular ICU.
This position focuses on outpatient and pulmonary consultative services.

Pulmonary consult service and procedures
Outpatient pulmonary clinic
50-bed ICU rotation with 24/7 in-house coverage, in a 420-bed hospital
Three state-of-the-art intensive care units (MICU, CCU, and CVICU)
Physicians provide onsite day and night ICU coverage
Nights are divided equally with the group
Fully equipped bronchoscopy capabilities (EMN, EBUS, robotic, and cone beam)
Intensivist-managed and ELSO-accredited ECMO program

Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a Per Diem Radiologist - Breast Imaging, to join our care team of 28 radiologists. This position offers multidisciplinary collaboration with a collegial team of dedicated and talented providers and staff, and the opportunity to teach in our radiology residency program. There are opportunities and support for clinical and quality improvement research, for those who are interested. There is no in house call.
Position Highlights:
Team Approach to Breast & Diagnostic Imaging; The breast team collaborates to provide comprehensive screening, diagnostic, and interventional services for a wide variety of patients. Radiologists participate in tumor board and multidisciplinary conferences with in-house medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists and pathologists. All members of theteam work for Virginia Mason and have the same cultural approach to care: the patient comes first. Virginia Mason also supports multiple breast clinics staffed by ARNP's who see patients urgently for patients with new concerns and communicate biopsy results. In addition to providing care in breast radiology, the candidate will read exams in another area of radiology to develop their knowledge and expertise outside of breast imaging. This might range from general plain films and ultrasound to subspecialty musculoskeletal, abdominal, or neuroradiology imaging, depending on their professional goals and training.
Teaching Program; Virginia Mason supports residency programs in radiology, anesthesiology, surgery, and internal medicine. Radiology faculty have come to Virginia Mason to teach as it is an important part of our mission. Teaching is a requirement and a highlight of what we do at Virginia Mason. Residents cover the hospital radiology service in-house on weeknights from 7:30 pm until 7:30 am and on weekends from 5:00 pm to 7:30 am. There is no in-house overnight call for attending radiologists.
Research; Research is not required, however, is encouraged and supported for those with an interest in clinical research or quality improvement. Internal pilot grants are available. The Virginia Mason Center for Health Care Improvement also supports publication of innovations in health care delivery and quality improvement.
