Wellington Radiology Group (WRG) is seeking a board certified/board eligible fellowship-trained breast radiologist to join a busy and thriving multidisciplinary practice as the mammography program continues to grow.

WRG is a 21 FTE subspecialized private practice hospital-based group that has been practicing for over 30 years. It serves both a teaching hospital with a residency program in the city of Chicago and a private hospital in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Barrington, IL. The group is 100% physician owned with no private equity affiliation. We provide a full range of breast imaging services to two ACR Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence and 5 outpatient centers.

This position can be Monday through Friday 100% breast imaging with no call or evening work or a Monday through Friday 100% breast imaging with additional weekend general radiology work for additional compensation.

There is opportunity to be part of a teaching program as we run a free standing residency program of 12 residents. There is also opportunity for hybrid on site / off site practice, with general/body imaging work available.

Requirements

Fellowship training in breast imaging

Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography (including tomosynthesis), ultrasound and MRI.

 Skilled in stereotactic, ultrasound and MRI guided biopsies and localization procedures.
