Partnered with hospitals in eastern Kentucky that have opportunities for a skilled Breast Imager to provide locum mammography coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p), 2 weeks per month
• No call shifts required
• Setting: Onsite, inpatient & ED
• Will cover multiple facilities
• RIS: Meditech
• PACS: Change Healthcare (McKesson)
• Board certification or board eligibility required
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, drive winding scenic byways through forested hills, shop at a local craft fair or farmers market, and explore a nearby state park featuring rugged terrain, wildlife, and panoramic ridge views.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Gastroenterologist Internal Medicine Missouri state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
• One year of work experience as Gastroenterologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
